Minimal Invasive Elective Repairs of Congenital Heart Defects through a Right Thoracotomy: a Multi-Institutional Experience from ECHSA Centers

Aims of the study:
- Retrospective collective European multi-institutional descriptive report, to demonstrate safety, effectiveness, reproducibility, and diversity of various right thoracic surgical approaches (right mid-axillary, right antero-lateral, right sub-mammary) using cardiopulmonary bypass

- Analyze outcomes and compare with a propensity-matched cohort undergoing the same elective repairs for the same defects through a traditional median sternotomy
